Through our communications, we help build a strongorganizational foundation for achieving and sustaining long-termsuccess.Job DescriptionThis is a remote role, but the candidate selected must live within anhour’s drive of the Greater Chicagoland area.We are seeking a communications professional to manage internalcommunications plans and programs that support the Global Services’organizational strategy, critical initiatives, and other business updates.This position reports to the Global Services Communications Manager.Scope of Responsibilities:Develop, write, and edit internal and external communications for seniorleaders and key stakeholders including emails, organization announcements,blog posts, newsletters, employee engagement initiatives, etc.Own and create communication plans for key implementations.Support the development and execution of Town Halls for senior leadership,as well as ad hoc presentations.Serve as a strategic business partner to leaders, teams, and functionsacross the Global Services organization with a focus on building trustedrelationships.Engage and partner with subject matter experts and key internalstakeholders throughout the content development process – fromcapturing relevant and accurate information to translating messaging forthe general employee population to coordinating reviews and approvals.Build networks across diverse cultures and geographies.Thrive in a collaborative team-based environment while also workingindependently.Specific Knowledge and Skills for Success:Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field4+ years of corporate communications, public relations agency, journalism,and/or marketing experienceExperience in executive communications idealMust be able to submit a strong portfolio of written work to illustratestorytelling and writing skillsKnowledge of AP style a plusExpert writing, storytelling, editing and proofreading skillsStrong executive presence, and the ability to maintain strong workingrelationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organizationHighly strategic and out-of-the-box thinker – ability to beunderstanding, decisive and forward thinkingSkilled at exerting influence as this role requires cross-collaboration,with the ability to obtain support from various teams.Comfortable working under tight deadlines, managing multiple projectssimultaneously and adjusting as circumstances changeSerious commitment to excellence, quality and attention to detailBasic graphics and video experience a plus#LI-DB1#LI-HybridBasic RequirementsBasic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a related field of study4+ years of corporate communications, public relations agency, journalism,and/or marketing experienceTravel RequirementsUnder 10%Relocation ProvidedNonePosition TypeExperiencedReferral Payment PlanYesOur U.S. Benefits include:Incentive Bonus PlansMedical, Dental, Vision benefits401K with Company Match9 Paid HolidaysGenerous Paid Time Off PackagesEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPaid Parental & Family Leaveand more!EEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
