Our Senior Manager, Marketing, will work closely with our Director, Marketing Strategy, to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that positively position and drive name recognition — and revenue — for Nickerson and our client-partners. We are looking for a well-connected communicator who understands how to plan and create multifaceted marketing campaigns that will engage with target audiences and convey necessary messaging. Candidate must be a sophisticated writer and thinker who understands how to engage with the wide variety of the audiences we serve.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plan(s) for Nickerson and our client-partners
- Manage integrated marketing campaigns and projects on behalf of Nickerson and our client-partners
- Provide strategic marketing guidance and expertise to Nickerson and our client-partners
- Support the development of Nickerson’s business relationships and growth, identifying opportunities for scope expansion within our current client-partner base
- Collaborate across creative services, PR and communications, and social media teams to develop and execute integrated marketing programs
- Manage projects to ensure all action items, deadlines, and deliverables are met
- Lead client-partner meetings and follow-up conversations
- Support the management of client expectations, ensuring projects remain within scope
- Serve as a main point of contact for Nickerson’s client-partners
- React quickly to and assist in the management of crisis situations
- Oversee coordinators, and associates, providing coaching and professional development
- Manage direct reports, including holding weekly 1:1 meetings
- Review team’s work to ensure accuracy and quality
- Adhere to agency systems, processes, and best practices, serving as an example for the Nickerson team
- Lead Lunch & Learn sessions to train team on best practices, new tools, etc.
- Prepare and deliver marketing performance metrics to leadership
- Hold at least one (1) leadership role in an industry organization
- Support business development with proposals that ensure Nickerson’s capabilities align with client-partners’ needs
- Represent Nickerson by attending multiple networking events monthly
- Foster a sense of culture across the team and agency
- Maintain a strong attention to detail
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Demonstrated exemplary strategic planning, writing and critical-thinking abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
- A proven record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage integrated marketing teams to drive campaigns from conception to execution
- Knowledge of the commercial real estate, AEC, and prop-tech space, ideally with 3+ years of experience within the industry
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage client-partner accounts
- A willingness to represent the agency at networking events through professional memberships
- Self-starter and team player willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
- Competence in Microsoft computer programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Teams and OneDrive experience a plus
- Previous experience with project management software (e.g. Asana, Monday, etc.) a plus
- Experience managing a CRM (ideally Salesforce) a plus
Location and Travel:
Team member will work fully remotely, with some anticipated travel to client-partners, industry events, etc.
