Description: The Sr. Marketing & Communications Manager will establish anew Marketing and Communications department aimed to enhance communicationsamong stakeholders, foster transparency, align organizational messaging,and strengthen relationships with ASEC’s employees, partners, and thebroader community. This will be a primarily remote position, with theflexibility to travel to the Lexington Park, MD office when needed. Theideal candidate will live within a drivable distance from Lexington Park,MD. In partnership with ASEC’s executive leadership, you will create astrategic plan for how information will be collected, refined, anddisseminated. You will also enhance processes and improve efficiencies,resulting in a holistic approach to messaging, branding, andvisibility. What You’ll Do: Identify the pillars that will be essential to shaping marketingobjectives Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that is aligned withorganizational priorities, values, and brand conduct market research to understand more about the competitivelandscape, target audiences, and industry trends Oversee internal Strategic planning, campaign development, creativedirection, content direction, social media communications, andcopywriting Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test for effectivenessand efficiency Oversee ASEC’s brand assets (e.g., video content, print, layout,photo, website, promotional items, and apparel Maintain design integrity and continuity of all assets as they relateto the aesthetics and messaging created for campaigns and specialprojects Oversee brand positioning, ensuring improved articulation andcohesiveness of ASEC’s messaging Ensure cohesive messaging and branding across various marketingchannels. This can include broadcast, print, publications, paid traffic,social media, and other tactics deployed in the marketing of ASEC. Establish corporate identity guidelines, messaging priorities,aesthetic values, and other essential elements to provide comprehensivecreative direction for all brand materials and campaign pieces Implement effective internal communication strategies, e.g., enhancedcollaboration tools, feedback mechanisms, employee engagement projects,training and development programs, etc.) Additional tasking may be required; this is not an exhaustive list ofresponsibilities Requirements: Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree is required 10 years of marketing and communications experience, with at least 5years in a management-level role, required Ability to understand and distill complex information, generate keymessages and calls to action Demonstrated leadership experience in all aspects of communications,including traditional and emerging media platforms required Outstanding management and planning skills, including the ability tohandle multiple projects simultaneously required Excellent writing and editing skills required Experience in media relations required You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships withinternal and external customers You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbaland written You take a proactive approach to your work and you’re able toaccomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solvingskills Your organizational skills are impressive, allowing you to effectivelymanage competing priorities ASEC is committed to providing access and reasonable accommodation inits services, activities, programs, and employment opportunities inaccordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other applicablelaws.
