Role Overview:
As the Senior Marketing Executive, you’ll be the team lead ensuring projects are executed flawlessly and client expectations are consistently exceeded. This role combines strategic creativity, stakeholder management, great communication, brand understanding, culturally curious, and team leadership, with a strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Creative Strategy: As a Team Lead, you will leverage your creativity to design impactful strategies that align with client goals and market trends. You’ll oversee the ideation process, ensuring that campaigns are not only innovative but also effectively communicate the brand’s message to the target audience. Your role will involve collaborating with the creative team to develop unique concepts that resonate across various channels.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of marketing executives, designers, and writers setting clear goals, providing feedback, and ensuring alignment with agency objectives. You should be a jack of all trades and experienced to be able to guide your team.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution and consistently high-quality outputs. You will coordinate with teams to maintain alignment, mitigate risks, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate key account metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present detailed reports and actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making to enhance overall performance and drive measurable outcomes.
- Integrated Channel Understanding (Digital, BTL, ATL): This role demands a comprehensive understanding of integrated marketing channels, including digital, Below-The-Line (BTL), and Above-The-Line (ATL) strategies. You will ensure that campaigns are cohesive and impactful, seamlessly blending traditional and modern marketing approaches to maximize reach and engagement. By analyzing target audience behaviours and preferences, you’ll determine the best channels to achieve optimal campaign performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams is a key aspect of this position. You’ll act as the bridge between stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met while aligning deliverables with the company’s capabilities. This involves clear communication, setting realistic expectations, and fostering a collaborative environment to drive mutual success.
- Campaign Development: From concept to execution, you will oversee the end-to-end development of marketing campaigns. This includes conducting research, setting objectives, defining KPIs, and managing execution timelines. You’ll work closely with the creative, content, and performance teams to deliver campaigns that not only meet but exceed client expectations.
- Budget Management: You will be responsible for managing campaign budgets effectively, ensuring every dollar spent contributes to measurable results. This involves strategic allocation of resources, monitoring expenditures, and delivering high-quality campaigns within financial constraints. Providing regular budget updates and justifications to stakeholders will also be a key responsibility.
- Technology & Tools: As part of your role, you’ll utilize industry-leading tools and technology to streamline processes, track performance, and optimize campaigns. Familiarity with tools such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, analytics platforms, CRM systems, and design tools like Canva. Additionally, you’ll stay updated on emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field from a Tier-1 college.
- 4+ years across channels (experience in a marketing agency is a plus).
- Proven experience managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Should have skills in Digital, design understanding, stakeholder management, great communication, understanding brands, campaign understanding, and social media.
- Strong strategic thinking with an analytical mindset.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and drive results.
