About the role

With movement and growth within the business, we have a permanent role for a Senior Network Engineer. This role will see you support and deliver network projects to key NEC customers. This includes creating detailed design documentation and implementing network changes as well as leading by example with opportunities to mentor junior Network Engineers. 

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a network engineer or in a similar role
• Strong technical expertise in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in routing and switching protocols, such as OSPF, BGP, and VLAN
• Hands-on experience with network management tools and platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technical experience or similar:

• Cisco Routing and Switching
• Cisco Service Provider Networking
• Cisco Data Centre Switching
• Cisco Catalyst Centre (DNAC) and Software Defined Access 
• Cisco Wireless and Network Access Control 
• Aruba Routing and Switching 
• Aruba Wireless and Network Access Control
