About The Opportunity

Senior Project Managers own the delivery of a number of Ellucian’s implementation projects, guiding

the overall project team, including technical/functional consultants, in the UK, Ireland, and globally.

Ensuring the professional service team deliver an excellent customer service and experience to our

clients during the consultation and implementation process through to go live.

Where you will make an impact

• Leading, managing, and coordinating all aspects of project requirements and guiding overall

project team, including consultants in both UK and Global Resources.

• Building and managing overall project plan, Risk assessment plans, Communication plans,

individual task plans, schedule and budget.

• Ensuring compliance with Ellucian project standards (e.g. Edge & Global PMO standards)
• Working collaboratively with other managers and staff to develop project planning and

management tools, processes, and standards. Assigning tasks to team members and

mentors team members in planning and executing the work.

• Responsible for communicating project key objectives, critical path milestones, and overall

project status to internal and external senior management.

• Initiates action to identify and resolve project problems/issue and leading and facilitating

design of solutions as needed.

• Prepares and executes quality assurance assessments and reports to management on

mitigating steps and actions taken to ensure project success and quality.

What You Will Bring

• Experience in the implementation of large projects, including ERPs highly desirable
• Experience working in information technology in a higher education environment is desirable
• Previous Experience with coordination of Global and Domestic Resources
• Experience Managing Time and Material projects as well as Fixed Price projects.
• Strong knowledge of PMO governed and managed implementation projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
