What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Conduct independent analysis for complex regulatory inquiries and provide interpretations of regulatory rules and guidelines
• Liaise with regulatory agency investigators and internal departments to ensure compliance with state and federal standards
• Research, resolve, and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders, including Congressional and state officials
• Review and analyze business processes to identify risks and trends related to compliance
• Prepare detailed documentation in support of legal actions and testify on behalf of the employer as needed

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance or senior level customer service role
• Proficient in interpreting insurance law and regulations
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to maintain professional interactions with regulatory agency members and internal staff

• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance frameworks
• Previous experience in a mentoring or leadership role within a compliance setting
• Strong analytical skills with a background in risk assessment
