SENIOR SALESFORCE DEVELOPER / PERMANENT / FULL TIME / HYBRID – NORTHWICH
SALARY UP TO £48,000
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team – you will be responsible for developing, customising, and maintaining our Salesforce platform, working with other members of the IT team, along with other departments within the organisation and external partners.
This is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week at our Northwich Office (CW9 7LN) and 1 day a month at our Hoddesdon Head Office (EN11 0DR).
Your expertise in Salesforce development will contribute to optimising our business processes and enhancing customer relationship management. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and play a key role in driving our Salesforce implementation.

What are some of the tasks you’ll be doing?
- Develop and customise Salesforce applications, workflows, and functionalities to meet business requirements.
- Design and implement custom objects, fields, and layouts in Salesforce.
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse user requirements and provide technical recommendations.
- Create and manage data migration and integration processes between Salesforce and other systems.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and debugging of Salesforce applications.
What knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, working with Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce customisation, configuration, and development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and platform limitations.
- Experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of Salesforce deployment methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or App Builder, are highly desirable.
