Job Summary:

What will you do?

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that are part of the company’s AdTech platform. This includes writing code, implementing features, and ensuring code quality and best practices.
• Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product manager and other engineers, to design scalable and efficient software architectures. Consider factors such as real-time data processing, ad targeting, and performance optimization
• Scalability and Performance: Optimize software systems for high scalability and performance, as AdTech platforms often handle millions of ad impressions and user interactions daily. Identify and address bottlenecks and latency issues.
• API Integration: Integrate with external APIs and third-party platforms for data exchange, ad inventory, or reporting.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and systems to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Security: Ensure that the AdTech systems are secure, and user data is protected in compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system health and diagnose issues proactively.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them grow in their roles.
• Innovation: Stay innovative and explore emerging technologies that can enhance the company’s AdTech offerings and keep them competitive.

As an applicant, your skills should include the following:

• Proven skills building high-performance, large-scale, distributed server websites
• Expert knowledge of PHP, Javascript, CSS, MySQL (or other RDBMS)
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Champion of optimization and performance best practices
• Familiar with good software design practices
• Skilled and familiar with Agile Scrum and continuous delivery
• BSc or MSc Computer Science or related field, or related experience
