JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Tax Services Specialist at Azadea’s Business Services is responsible for overseeing the tax process and handling the preparation of tax returns across all countries within the group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Ensure group compliance aligns with tax laws and regulations in all operating countries.
– Collaborate with Azadea’s Business Services team to ensure timely filing and payment of tax returns in all operating countries.
– Provide tax support and ad hoc advice to various teams within the group, covering areas such as legal restructuring, contract reviews, tax exposure assessment for global, regional, and country-level projects, and transaction tax treatment.
– Identify and mitigate tax risks in countries where the group operates.
– Work closely with the finance team, Azadea’s Business Services team, and tax consultants to effectively manage group tax audits across all operating countries.
– Assist in reviewing transfer pricing documentation, CbCR reporting, and economic substance filings.
– Conduct tax training sessions on diverse tax issues for different departments within the group.
Requirements:
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Proficiency
– Fluency in English and Arabic.
– Fluency in French is a plus.
Technical Skills
– Proficiency in MS Office.
EDUCATION
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance, or a related field.
– Master’s degree is a plus.
EXPERIENCE
– Four to six years of experience in accounting and tax compliance, or a similar role. Experience from big 4 audit, or large groups is a plus.
