Senior Ui Motion Designer | intent | Poland

We’re currently looking for talented Designer to join us and support us in UI and Motion Design.

intent has over 10+ years of experience in helping to conceptualize, design, and build apps for IoT and connected devices. We operate in an agency mode, supporting international clients creating IoT apps. Our work bridges physical hardware and digital applications. Some of our recent projects include apps for:

  • a manicure machine,

  • brainwave-monitoring headphones
designed to track and improve focus levels,

  • a smart ring
that helps women monitor their health and well-being,

  • leading audio equipment brand
that needed help in complex app rebranding.

Project teams are interdisciplinary, comprising project managers, designers, developers, and QAs. Projects typically run from 3 to 9 months, focusing mostly on MVPs and app redesigns

Who We’re Looking For? Someone who has:

  • A passion for mobile technology with in-depth knowledge of iOS and Android platform guidelines.

  • Expertise in designing micro-interactions and animations to enhance user experience.

  • Mastery of Figma and Design Systems creation.

  • Strong presentation skills, confidently explaining design decisions to clients (English B2/C1 proficiency at least).

  • Ready to join sales calls with potential clients to explain design issues’ complexity and intricacies

  • Balance artistic approach with usability and accessibility knowledge.

    And if you’re also…

  • experienced in creating apps for the Health, Well-being or Audio industry

  • experience in remote work in an agency environment or as a freelancer

  • IoT Geek …you’re more than the perfect to join us!

What you’ll do?

  • Be a key member of the project team, taking ownership of the applications’ aesthetic and visual aspects.

  • Develop visual guidelines based on the client’s branding or from scratch during art-direction workshops.

  • Ensure Figma serves as a clear and comprehensive design documentation for both the team and the client.

  • Work closely with developers to ensure your designs are technically feasible and that the implementation aligns with your vision.

  • Collaborate with UX designers to review wireframes, challenge ideas, and provide your perspective.

  • Lead client presentations to showcase your designs and ensure the client embraces your vision.

  • Support the sales team and Team Leader in creating design effort estimates.

  • Contribute to developing internal best practices and processes to improve project workflows.

Who will be on your team?

You’ll be working day-to-day with an interdisciplinary project team, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be isolated from other designers at our company. The design team is a group of talented individuals who regularly come together to share lessons learned from projects, and the latest trends in design, and enjoy some laughs and conversation. It’s a supportive environment—a true safe zone for its members.

In our design team, you’ll find:

  • Somar – Senior UX Designer:
An analytical mind and strategist with extensive expertise in neuroscience and well-being.

  • Ania – UX Design Expert:
A researcher, strategist, service designer, educator, and workshop facilitation master.

  • Piotrek – UX Design Expert:
Accessibility advocate, specializing in UX audits and an IoT enthusiast who enjoys contributing to sales processes.

  • Filip – UI Designer:
A Figma and Design Systems master, transforming gray UX wireframes into visually appealing, high-fidelity mockups.

  • Miłka—Design Team Leader, UX Designer & Researcher:
focuses on the team’s development, manages workload, and skillfully balances expectations between the team and the company

What do you need to apply for this position:

Send us:

  • your resume,

  • short UI portfolio, showing mobile projects

  • a Figma file with a sample of your exemplary project (we want to see how you organize your work and manage Figma).
