Senior Ux Ui Designer (Remote)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The UI/UX Designer will create web and mobile digital experiences that factor in business goals, development capabilities, technology platform, design standards, and user needs for a wide range of strategic programs.

The UI/UX Designer II has a strong understanding of interaction design principles and current global UI/design patterns and standards and uses this perspective to deliver the business strategy in the digital arena.

• PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides user experience design leadership over one or more large strategic initiatives.
• Collaborates and communicates across teams for measurable business outcomes.
• Using a good understanding of the brand strength, represents seamlessly through the product interface across web and mobile channels.
• Oversees prototyping, visual designs, user research and usability testing and integration of designs with application development.
• Leads a team of junior UI/UX designers, providing training and support as and where necessary.
• Researches and identifies new functionality, rich content opportunities, and user behavior enhancements to improve overall user experience.
• Conducts user testing surveys for new product features.
• Ensures complex information is delivered and displayed in the most compelling way.
• Creates rapid working prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and customers.
• Researches industry trends and competitor experiences to predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path and exceptions.
• Presents designs and sells creative solutions to various stakeholders.
• Stays up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Understands and incorporates search engine optimization best practices in design.
• Participates in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and participating in professional organizations.
• Prioritizes and manages assignments, tasks, and projects to completion with minimal supervision.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 4 years of UX/UI or interaction design experience; experience with responsive Web and Mobile design and frameworks that incorporate strong grid principles, such as Bootstrap, material design.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Knowledge in Angular, React.JS, SASS/SCSS/Less.
• Experience creating interactive prototypes using one or more prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, In Vision, Axure).
• Understanding of Omnichannel Customer experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience using Figma
