To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate examples of:

2-3 years of experience working in an SEO role preferably in a digital marketing agency.
Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be liaising directly with clients, often with difficult or technical issues to explain.
Ability to grasp the differing needs of a variety of markets; your SEO clients will be operating across many verticals.
A firm understanding of advertising and marketing strategies beyond your SEO work.
Time management and task prioritisation to meet deadlines.

Suggested Software Proficiency

Project management/collaboration tools
CRM Systems for both internal requirements and understanding how a client may be using them.
Core SEO tools: Google Analytics, AdWords, Search Console, SEMRush

Knowledge of popular website platforms: WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Squarespace, Craft CMS, etc
