The Role

We’re seeking a talented and enthusiastic SEO Copywriter to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging and effective copy that’s optimised for both search engines and user engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with our designers, SEO specialists, and other team members to produce high-quality content for websites, blogs, and other digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

SEO and Keyword Research

• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value search terms with strong relevance to our clients’ businesses.
• Analyse search trends and competitor strategies to inform content strategy and keyword selection.
• Use keyword research tools to identify relevant long-tail keywords and search phrases.

Content Creation and Optimisation:

• Write clear, compelling copy for websites, blog posts, articles, social media updates, and more.
• Adapt your writing style to suit different clients, industries, and target audiences, ensuring content is both informative and engaging.
• Incorporate keywords into your writing to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
• Optimise meta descriptions and title tags to enhance click-through rates from search results pages.
• Proofread and quality-check content from other teams, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.

Collaboration and Project Management:

• Work closely with designers to ensure content is visually appealing and effectively integrated across various platforms.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative content ideas.
• Manage diverse copywriting projects, from large-scale website redesigns to short-form social media content.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, providing updates and seeking feedback.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SEO Copywriter or Content Writer with a strong understanding of SEO principles.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
• Experience conducting keyword research and optimising content for search engines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
