Job Description: Smart TV App Developer (Samsung Tizen /LG webOS, Roku TV (RokuOS) and Amazon Fire TV/Android TV)

Experience Required – 5+ Years

Work Mode – Remote

Immediate joiners are preferred.

Development Technologies:  HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Angular, Brightscript , Android (Java)

Responsibilities:

1. Develop Smart TV applications for Samsung Tizen and LG webOS platforms using Angular framework ,Roku TV (RokuOS) using Brightscript and Amazon Fire TV/Android TV using Java.

2. Design, develop, and implement user interfaces for Smart TV apps that are intuitive and visually appealing.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and QA testers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality Smart TV applications.

4. Optimize Smart TV apps for performance, scalability, and compatibility across different screen sizes and resolutions.

5. Integrate backend APIs and services to fetch and display dynamic content within Smart TV applications.

6. Conduct thorough testing of Smart TV apps to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a smooth user experience.

7. Stay updated with the latest developments in Smart TV technologies and platforms, incorporating new features and enhancements into our applications.

8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members as needed.

Requirements:

1. Proven Experience with app development for Samsung tizen/LG , Roku TV (RokuOS) and Amazon Fire TV/Android TV

3. Good to have experience if you have worked in IDE like Android studio, LG WebOS IDE, Samsung Tizen Studio, Visual studio code, MS Visual studio.

4. Proficiency in Angular framework with hands-on experience in building responsive web applications.

5. Strong understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

6. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming concepts.

7. Experience with version control systems such as Git.

8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

9. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

10. Prior experience with media streaming or OTT (Over-the-Top) platforms is a plus.
