We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join our team and elevate our social media presence. In this role, you will develop and execute creative campaigns that resonate with our audience, analyze social data to optimize performance, and contribute to our mission of helping people understand financial concepts and grow their wealth.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop and manage day-to-day social media content that aligns with our editorial calendar and highlights broader communications, product, and marketing initiatives.

Strategy Development: Craft strategies to increase followers and engagement on key channels, and explore new platforms to expand our reach.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to execute product launches and social campaigns.

Data Analysis: Collaborate with data science and consumer insights teams to measure the business impact of our social media efforts and refine strategies accordingly.

Team Management: Oversee and mentor social media team members, setting clear goals and benchmarks for success.

Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends and identify opportunities to incorporate relevant conversations into our strategy.

About The Communications Team

Our Communications team plays a crucial role in enhancing our brand’s presence through owned and earned channels. We drive positive conversations and maintain top-of-mind awareness among clients and the press. Our team is remote-friendly, welcoming candidates from across the US.

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in social media management within a consumer-facing tech company; fintech or finance experience is a plus.

Proven success in scaling social media channels, managing cross-functional campaigns, and significantly increasing engagement and followers.

Expertise in various social platforms, analysis tools, and the broader social media industry, with a focus on Instagram and LinkedIn.

Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex topics across different formats, from concise tweets to detailed video scripts. Graphic design or video creation experience is highly desirable.

Experience managing and mentoring junior team members and collaborating with agency partners.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to distill and present key insights to stakeholders.

A passion for personal finance and a commitment to creating content that educates and empowers.

Compensation And Benefits

Estimated annual salary range: $145,000 – $160,000 USD, plus equity and discretionary bonus.
