The Job

*This is a Fully Remote Role, you can be based in the UK or Europe*

Ready to join a Series A start up who are quite literally on a rocket ship trajectory? If yes, keep reading!

This start up keep growing and growing and are now looking to grow the team with talented and motivated back end engineers. You will be joining one of the small Squads who all own their own work – you build it, you run it – and will be responsible for the development of new features. You will work closely with your Senior colleague from both Engineering and Product and will work with a lot of Autonomy.

The team are Remote First with a UK Base, you can be based anywhere within two hours of the UK. Core Tech Stack: Java 11, the Micronaut framework, and AWS serverless services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Fargate, WAF, SQS, SNS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM).

About You

With some good commercial experience behind you, you should be competent with Java in a microservice architecture and be comfortable working with complex architecture, problem solving and proposing solutions. If you have experience with AWS you’ll be in a good position as well as if you have worked in any environment where you take full ownership.

As well as your Technical prowess you will have a character that fits in well with a start up – a can do attitude where you are not afraid to try something and see if it works – and a desire to grow your career. You will be working with some very talented people and will also be given the room to add your own flare.

The Company

This is for a unique Series A start-up cloud-based SaaS company who have had a successful 24 months. Their work is cutting edge where they are collaborating with other SaaS companies to manage their usage-based pricing and move away from subscription based. This is a data centric company where they can integrate their APIs to help provide metering, ratings, and analytics service to grow, sell and price much better.

The Process and Salary

A 4 stage process completed efficiently and remotely/ Excellent Package on offer with a starting salary of up to £57,000 (if you are outside of the UK you will have a local contract via an Employee of Record provider)
