Job Description:
Will be working on electronics avionic products are installed in a wide variety of civil and military aircraft. These products provide communication, navigation, and guidance information to the pilot. The software engineering team is responsible for producing the avionics software embedded within these products as well as the production test environments for the products.
Members of the software engineering team are responsible for all phases of embedded software development including:
-Lifecycle of a software product – start with some planning documents, gathering software requirements, looking into things, allocate software requirements – Code in C, integrate with systems work & hardware, waiting on Hardware, In this industry it’s a lot of paperwork along with coding. This opportunity would require someone who is comfortable with the documentation side as there are a lot of standards.
Other duties:
• Writing software development plans
• Documenting software requirements
• Creating a software design
• Writing software code
• Writing software test cases and procedures

Qualifications:
To be successful, applicants must have at least the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Proficiency with the C programming language
• Experience with embedded software development 8+ years
