Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects through all phases from routing/siting to construction compliance.
- Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, focusing on FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
- Liaise with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
- Communicate with stakeholders and the public during hearings and meetings.
- Manage project scope, budget, scheduling, and forecasting to achieve successful outcomes.
- Participate in business development activities and represent the company at industry conferences.
- Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to uphold environmental standards.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting for pipeline projects.
- Proven expertise in FERC regulations and federal environmental legislation.
- Self-motivated with superior organizational abilities and an eye for detail.
