The person in this position will be responsible for team, competence andbusiness development in the Data Platforms Administration (DPA) area. Thisis the area within which BitPeak provides its clients with support andmaintenance services for solutions such as data warehouses, analytical andreporting platforms, specialised systems for advanced analytics (AI/ML),and others in accordance with the BitPeak company profile. The role offersthe opportunity to work in an international environment and exposure to thelatest technologies in the DataOps and MLOps area.Responsibilities: Team Leadership – managing a rapidly growing specialistteam in the DPA area Meeting with employees (1:1), planning development paths, setting andsettling individual objectivesEnsuring competence development within the DPA team in line with demandin the context of ongoing and planned servicesManagement of the plan for assigning staff to support and maintenanceservices for data platformsSupervising and participating in recruitment processesOnboarding of new employeesOperational Excellence – overseeing the quality ofservices delivered by the DPA team Setting good practices, operational procedures, document templates,etc.Overseeing the high quality of services provided by the DPA team toBitPeak clientsVerifying customer satisfaction and keeping it highDomain Expertise – being a domain / technology expert inthe DPA area Contributing to projects in the role of Data PlatformsAdministratorMonitoring the market for tools and operational techniques specific toDPADeveloping an internal Knowledge Base for the DPA areaSpeaking as an expert at internal and external meetingsSharing knowledge within the DPA teamBusiness Development – support of newcustomer acquisition processes for the services provided by the DPAteamParticipation in pre-sales and sales processesPreparation of batches for quotationsPricing of service deliveryPresentation of the team’s competences and credentials topotential clientsRequirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing ateam of professionals (including teams of morethan 10 people; as line supervisor, Project Manager, Technical Lead)More than 3 years of experience in managing teams in the areaof systems administration, 2-3 lines of technicalsupportMinimum 7 years’ experience in roles such as SupportEngineer, ServiceDesk Engineer, System Administrator, Network AdministratorMore than 3 years of experience working with cloud services, inparticular discernment and experience with data services offered byAzure and/or AWS platformsExperience in planning and executing transition-in/out processes formaintenance servicesUnderstanding and ability to monitor and account forSLAs for maintenance servicesCommunication skills, customer, cooperation and resultsorientationVery good knowledge of English at min.
