As a Systems Analyst, you will play a vital role in providing technical support for our HR, indirect procurement and expense applications, addressing user queries and issues promptly and professionally. You will support the teams administrative activities, project execution, and collaboration within the Technology team. Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to system administration and user support, while the remaining time will be allocated to project-related activities such as upgrades, implementations, market assessments, cost/benefit analyses, and more. This role will have emphasis on the HR applications domains with secondary focus on either procure to pay or expense reporting systems. This position is pivotal for enhancing capabilities, identifying process improvements, and reducing the support footprint, all while collaborating closely with system users to achieve their objectives. It’s a challenging role that will nurture your technical, process, and business domain expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First-Line User Support: Be the initial point of contact for users, assisting with their requests, including training and system issues. Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the applications to ensure their optimal performance.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly communicate expectations and resolutions to user issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Execution Excellence: Execute tasks and deliver projects effectively, maintaining strong communication and regular progress updates.
  • Constant Collaboration: Collaborate with the Engineering team to identify and implement system improvements, enhancements, and updates as required. Collaborate with functional and development colleagues, and vendor support teams to resolve issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Project Coordination: Actively participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support business goals and growth. Effectively communicate project status, escalate issues as needed, and manage timelines and action items.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Monitor systems from a business-oriented perspective, identifying issues and opportunities proactively. Conduct routine system checks to ensure system stability and reliability.
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with end-users to gather feedback, identify pain points, and suggest improvements to enhance the user experience. Be on the lookout for inefficiencies and suboptimizations, and suggest improvements.
  • User Training: Assist with user training and onboarding processes to ensure that all employees can effectively utilize the applications. Create and provide high-quality training materials for user assistance and system usage.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system configurations, issue resolutions, and best practices.
  • Compliance and Security: Adhere to company policies and security standards to protect the integrity and confidentiality of data within the applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with at least 5 years of business process and system analysis experience.
  • Experience in making data-driven decisions and manipulating datasets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • A collaborative team player, highly motivated, and detail-oriented.

Nice to Have Skills (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience with business process for Talent Acquisition, procure to pay or expense reporting.
  • Exposure to SAP FI and SAP MM.
  • Experience in writing and presenting business cases.
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology.
  • Experience using and/or administering Jira.
