  Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Technical education in engineering.

  • Experience estimating steel manufactured products, with a preference given for estimating in steel tanks or vessels especially within the BOM creation environment.

  • Experience in the Microsoft 365 environment, with extensive experience in Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.

  • Experience with CRM systems.

  • Acute ability to think critically and solve complex problems.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to work flexible hours where required.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Within the ERP, creating the quotation including assigning to the relevant plant, entering accurate customer information, populating the required delivery date, confirming payment terms, entering preliminary finished materials and quantities, confirming the partner/sales employee, adding freight terms and descriptions, populating the quote validity field, updating quote status and completing any other tasks related to the specific opportunity.

  • Within the CRM, creating a deal including customer contact information and link to the quote number, ensuring the proper owner is selected, adding the company and individual to the database where required, moving the deal along the stages of the discovery/engineering/estimating process and communicating the

  • Analyzing project information, specifications, engineering requirements, proposals and other documentation to prepare cost and labor estimates.

  • Within the ERP, creating and updating item text to create a more descriptive customer experience, including general quote notes, main line-item notes, and component notes.

  • Maintaining raw material surcharge information and, when necessary, applying surcharges to raw material costs clearly within the various BOM.

  • Ensuring accuracy relevant to bids and estimates.

  • Producing cost pricing estimate and applies markup multipliers based on established guidelines.

  • Packaging the quotation into a PDF document for delivery to the Sales Representative with furtherance to the customer.

  • Revising quotes as requested by the Sales Representative or Product Manager.

  • Updating stale quotes.

  • Converting quotes to orders within the ERP.

  • Consulting with internal stakeholders including engineers, sales, product management and operations, to discuss and resolve issues related to estimates.

  • Reviewing data to determine material and labor requirements, and prepares itemized breakdowns within the relevant ERP.

  • Computing cost factors and preparing estimates used for submitting quotations.

  • In conjunction with the Product Manager, selecting third party suppliers or subcontractors and determines cost effectiveness.

  • Within the ERP, creating or editing order BOM based on all factors related to the potential tank build, accounting for all materials, third party items and labor.

  • Within the ERP, organizing the quotes into rows with accurate revision status.

  Pay: ₹500,000.00 – ₹700,000.00 per year
