About the Role:

Reporting into the Technical Director, this is an exciting role supporting our meals division to identify, research and implement new initiatives and technologies across our manufacturing processes.

The Technical Innovation Specialist will be tasked with researching new ways of working within the food manufacturing sector. This will involve market and industry research, proposing new implementation plans for innovations and supporting with the deployment of new schemes.

The role will look at areas such as Pathogen Prevention, Sustainability, Hygiene Management and Packaging innovations and present exciting new ways of improving the way we work at 2 Sisters Food Group.

The role will directly work with high level managers and stakeholders across the group and industry specialists, offering amazing exposure and development opportunities.

This Technical Innovation Specialist role would be ideal for an established Technical Coordinator or Technical Services Coordinator interested in innovations and cutting-edge technologies, eager to develop their career and make their mark on an industry leader.

About You:

To succeed in this Technical Innovation Specialist role, you will ideally be a recent graduate with a background in Food Science or Technology. You will be able to give evidence of research projects you have conducted either during your studies or in work and have a desire to continue this forward in your career.

We are seeking someone with an enquiring mind, a passion for the Food industry the technical ability to make a real impact on the future of the sector.

Ideally you will have strong communication skills, be well organized and able to work well with stakeholders at all levels.

While this is predominantly a remote position, you will need to travel to our various sites regularly and be comfortable visiting our offices to engage with the rest of the team. There will also be opportunities to travel overseas for research purposes.
