Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed market research to analyze trends, opportunities, and challenges within the wastewater treatment sector, providing actionable insights to shape strategic direction.
- Design and execute robust sales strategies to drive market penetration, grow the customer base, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Establish and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers, industry stakeholders, distributors, and other influential contacts within the region.
- Actively represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and networking events to enhance brand presence and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Identify and qualify leads through proactive outreach methods, including cold calling, referrals, networking, and targeted engagement, while keeping the sales pipeline consistently updated and accurate.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals, technical presentations, and product demonstrations tailored to client-specific needs and market demands.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product development, to ensure cohesive efforts and a seamless customer experience.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, securing high-value deals that align with revenue and profitability objectives.
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Contribute to wider commercial initiatives, including supporting marketing campaigns, developing promotional materials, and participating in global company events.
- Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining CRM records, preparing sales reports, and providing feedback to refine strategies and operational processes.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 5 years of proven success in B2B sales, with experience in the wastewater treatment industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and tasks effectively.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all documentation and processes.
- Fluent English with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Comprehensive understanding of wastewater treatment technologies, equipment, and biological processes.
- Collaborative mindset, working closely with internal departments to drive results.
- Ownership of regional sales processes and pipeline management.
- Flexibility to support additional responsibilities, including representing the company at external events.
