REMOTE Transportation Analytics Manager (LTL Exp. Req.) Description
Our client in the logistics industry is looking for a Transportation Analytics Manager to add to their small team in Chicago, Illinois. As a team lead, you will optimize LTL and FTL operations and implement internal automation solutions to improve organizational efficiency. Your analytical expertise will play a crucial role in advancing data analytics capabilities, fostering a culture of innovation, and developing the skills of the three team members under your supervision. To be successful in this role, you should be well-versed in LTL carrier options with a nimble approach to mentoring and coaching a small team of intelligent and capable individuals. REMOTE Transportation Analytics Manager (LTL Exp. Req.) Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the data analytics team (3)
- Streamline supply chain processes through data analysis
- Drive automation initiatives to ensure operational efficiency
- Oversee the analysis of data related to LTL Land FTL shipments
- Develop pricing strategies and bidding models based on data analysis
- Maintain a detailed analysis of data
- Streamline existing reporting and develop additional metrics
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Troubleshoot any pricing issues in the TMS system
- Assist with quarterly business reviews and process improvements
REMOTE Transportation Analytics Manager (LTL Exp. Req.) Qualifications
- 3+ years of LTL/FTL logistics data analysis experience required
- Experience as an Analytics Team Lead or Supervisor required
- Strong knowledge of LTL carrier operations required
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel required (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc)
- Transportation Management System (TMS) experience required
