Job Description: Senior UI/UX Designer (Remote, Contractual)

Position: Senior UI/UX Designer

Type: Contractual (6 months) with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time based on performance

Location: Remote

Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days per week)

 As a UI/UX Designer, <<candidate>> will be responsible for developing highly interactive, responsive, and visually engaging web applications. You will combine your skills in UI/UX design, modern frontend frameworks, and web performance optimization to create seamless user experiences. Additionally, you will play a key role in building out the architecture and user journey, collaborating closely with backend developers, project managers, and designers to ensure smooth and efficient integration.

We are looking for a developer who is not just skilled in writing code but understands the importance of UX, user flow, and modern web design principles. The role requires a developer with proven expertise in Angular, React, or React Native and a strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and frontend state management. <<candidate>> work will include optimizing web performance, managing frontend build tools, and implementing solutions that maintain high code quality and user engagement. Speed of execution and ability to deliver on tight timelines are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Development & User Experience:

• Implement and enhance highly responsive, intuitive, and dynamic web applications based on UI/UX designs.
• Develop efficient user flows and ensure the implementation of modern web design techniques, including animations, shaders, and shadowing.

Work with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, and React Native to build mobile-first, responsive web applications.

• Manage frontend state efficiently using tools such as Redux, Context API, or similar libraries to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases

Creativity & Modern Solutions:

• Bring creative ideas to the table for improving user experience and site aesthetics.
• Leverage modern web technologies to create engaging interfaces that enhance user interaction and experience.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in front-end development, ensuring a modern, cutting-edge user experience.

Project Planning & Execution:

• Collaborate with the team to develop clear project plans and timelines, including a Gantt chart for tracking progress.
• Work within predefined timelines, ensuring that key projects such as News based product or other suite of products are delivered on schedule.
• Provide well-documented plans for each phase of development, including design, coding, testing, and iterations for improvement.

Code Efficiency & Velocity:

• Ensure that development processes are fast and efficient without compromising quality.
• Deliver fully functional projects within approximately one month, with a week allocated for testing and adjustments.
• Maintain a high production velocity, ensuring that complex frontend implementations (e.g., infinite scroll, advertisement windows) are completed in a timely manner.

Testing & Iteration:

• Develop front-end components with a focus on testing and continuous improvement, ensuring flawless execution.
• Participate in iterative processes to improve the final product, with feedback incorporated to refine user experience and flow.
