Ux Driven Senior Front End Engineer For Mass Consumer Startup Generous Equity (Remote)

**Job Description**

In this position, you will play a key role in determining our strategy – from choosing the right tools to managing feature parity to identifying how to take advantage of the latest tech.

**🚀🚀🚀 You will**

Collaborate to create and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications

1. Develop and implement new features and enhancements for our web and mobile applications using React Native, React.js, and other front-end technologies

2. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

3. Propose UI/UX initiatives with good design sense and attention to detail

4. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards

5. Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter, including selecting technical stack for future front-end products

6. Work in an agile environment, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the development of team standards and best practices

**Experience Requirements:**

1. 4+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development with React Js and React Native demonstrated through the delivery of production-grade code in commercial or enterprise-level projects.

2. Proficiency in other front-end technologies such as Redux, Recoil, Redux-saga, and TailwindCSS, demonstrated through practical application and expertise in implementing and optimizing solutions using these tools.

3. Proven track record of implementing mobile-first and responsive web design principles in past projects.

4. Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+, Typescript), with the ability to produce clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

5. Demonstrated experience in integrating RESTful APIs with backend services, preferably within the last two years, showcasing successful implementations.

6. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, supported by examples or scenarios from previous roles.

7. Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with tangible instances of teamwork and cooperation in previous projects.

8. Genuine passion for technology, engineering, and product development, reflected in past projects or contributions to the tech community.

**Nice to have:**

1. Experience with Next JS, and Story Book JS.

2. Familiarity with CI/CD using CircleCI, and GitHub Actions.

3. A passion for the intersection of design and data.

4. Zero to one experience crossing the chasm

5. Worked on product(s) that have undergone hyper-growth

6. Previous consumer startup experience – UX obsession

7. Working knowledge in product and resource management
