About the role

• We have built a new social media and location-sharing platform that is truly innovative and novel. It will launch in Q1 2025 and you will be responsible for polishing the existing design on both iOS and Android, including the creation of interface and accessibility themes that will support multilingual.
• You will be joining a core team of special ops iOS and Android developers, and work very closely with our Creative Director.

 Responsibilities

• Create and manage a Figma design system including assets and libraries.
• Polishing the existing design on both iOS and Android.
• Create a small number of in-app animations.
• Create interface and accessibility themes that will support multilingual.
• Create app explainer videos.
• Design website, promotional and other marketing materials.
• UI/UX design for platforms that include tablets, watches, desktops, TV’s and motor vehicles.
• Work closely with our Creative Director and mobile development leads.
   

What we are looking for

• Significant experience working across multiple design projects with a proven track record for delivering commercially successful apps to market.
• Significant experience in using a range of visual design, interaction design, UI/UX design, design research and testing, information architecture, content or design strategy for both mobile and desktop platforms.
• Strong technical skills using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud including, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience creating animations using tools such as Adobe After Effects or similar.
• Ability to translate functional concepts into user stories and product flows.
• Ability to create and maintain a company and product design language.
• Strong customer empathy to build a world-class user experience.
• Be highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership to deliver designs and solutions on-time.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills. 
• Bonus points awarded if you’ve worked in a rapidly growing company where time is of the essence.
   

This role is based in Melbourne, Australia and working from the office will be required. The office is located opposite Flinders Street Station in Southbank. You will be provided with the flexibility to work from home based on the nature of your work schedule. A high-end MacBook Pro with dual 43″ monitors, test devices and any other necessary equipment and office equipment will be supplied.

Remuneration

• 5k Starting Bonus, 6-12mth Bonus
• 100k – 150k Base + Bonuses (25k – 50k+) + Super
  (OTE well over 200k at the higher end inc bonuses and benefits)
