Voice Analyst (Remote)

We are looking for a Telecommunications Specialist to join our team. This role will involve working with our Network Operations Center and will focus on the provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VoIP related products and services. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary escalation path for field agents with VoIP related dispatches and trouble tickets. Monitor network devices, interfaces, and trouble tickets, providing continuous monitoring for problems impacting our customers’ voice services. Troubleshoot issues with our voice services and update call paths. Contact carriers and vendors to open new trouble tickets, schedule dispatches and stay up to date on existing trouble tickets. Receive incoming calls and respond to emails regarding service troubles or call path changes. Respond to customers in a detail oriented manner. Coordinate the proper installation and configuration of voice service components. Maintain active communication with our customers, on-site technicians, carrier service providers, and our Technical Support Engineers and VoIP Engineers to support and troubleshoot our voice platforms. Handle all tickets and jobs accurately and efficiently from start to finish.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Telecommunications Specialist
Proficiency in Cisco Voice Over Internet (VoIP)
Familiarity with Voice over internet protocol (VoIP)
Experience with VoIP and VOIP – Voice Over IP is preferred
Knowledge of VoIP System
Proficiency in IP Telephony and Telephony System
Experience working in a Network Operation Center
Basic Troubleshooting skills are required
Familiarity with ISDN and SIP
Exceptional Customer Service skills
Ability to Resolve Customer Service issues efficiently
Demonstration of Superior Customer Service in previous roles
Must be legally eligible to work in the given location
Must be fluent in English
Must have excellent communication skills.
