Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
  • Set clear, measurable sales targets and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews.

Revenue Growth:

  • Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing accounts.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reports.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Provide feedback to product development based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure effective sales processes and resource allocation.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for the executive team.
  • Utilize CRM systems and data analytics to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends.
