Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
- Set clear, measurable sales targets and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Establish performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews.
Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing accounts.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reports.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide feedback to product development based on customer needs and market trends.
- Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure effective sales processes and resource allocation.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for the executive team.
- Utilize CRM systems and data analytics to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends.
