As the Marketing Manager for Wearable Health, this candidate will be tasked with expanding the Wearable Health global strategy. All avenues of growth can be considered whether it be organic internal development of products or Merger & Acquisition activity that fit the strategic goals and help accelerate development. The candidate will be expected to lead in these strategic investment decisions with ongoing ownership for successful implementation. Reporting to the Director of Wearable Health, it is expected that the candidate for this role have the potential to become a senior business leader as the wearable health strategy succeeds and the business grows.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers and make recommendations on key industry trends including chronic disease management, wellness and preventative health and telemedicine.
- Drive analysis of the TAM/SAM & SOM of the various applications within the healthcare space.
- Work closely with systems engineering, making recommendations on the best new growth opportunities and investments that align with Cirrus Logic’s strategic goals.
- Work with stakeholders in product groups, in sales and in R&D as part of a global team.
- Act as the strategic representative of Cirrus Logic, alongside Sales in front of key customers and partners, to effectively position products, IP and capabilities, as well as articulate our strategic intent.
- Guide and strategize with internal Cirrus Logic teams such as Supply Chain, process technology, teardown, quality, applications, documentation and Marcomm on requirements to succeed in the healthcare space.
- Leverages both technical and business skills to find suitable technologies that bring meaningful system value and financial upside.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- BSc EE / BSc CE / BSc Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of technical marketing, design, software development, applications or system engineering experience.
- A proven track record of successfully driving a business to profitability.
- Recent experience in the healthcare domain with existing relationships in the industry.
- Self-starter and willing to work in an independent and flexible work environment.
- A team player with excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Organizational and project management skills.
- Domestic and international travel required.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- MSEE or MBA and 10+ years of technical marketing, design, applications, or system engineering.
- Previous & extensive work experience within the healthcare space for a device manufacturer or Semiconductor company.
