Senior Product Manager | Jaxel | Mexico Jaxel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our client’s IT team. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the development and enhancement of our client’s internal projects. You will collaborate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and other cross-functional partners to lead product development, status reporting, planning, and risk management. Responsibilities Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define product vision, and prioritize features. Team Leadership: Collaborate with different engineering teams (Backend: Java, Python, NodeJS; Frontend: React) to deliver high-quality products. Planning & Roadmapping: Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of product milestones. Status Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on project status, milestones, and any potential risks. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. User Feedback: Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product decisions and improvements. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and inform product strategy. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user guides. Agile Practices: Promote and implement agile methodologies to improve product development processes and team collaboration. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of product management experience, preferably within the retail or technology sectors. Technical Skills: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), backend technologies (Java, Python, NodeJS), and frontend frameworks (React). Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on delivering customer-centric solutions. Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA). Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including risk management and status reporting. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Customer Focus: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Certifications: Product management certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing) are a plus.
