Senior Python Developer | Regal Cloud | Poland Senior Python Developer Contract Type: 12-Month Contract Working Days: Sunday to Thursday Working Hours: Saudi Arabia Standard Time Location: Remote Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software development, system administration, and cloud solutions implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices, container orchestration, and configuration automation. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, create, and improve cloud-based solutions. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software delivery. Utilize container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline development processes. Automate system configurations using tools like Ansible and Terraform. Manage and monitor private cloud environments, including VMware and OpenStack. Optimize the use of ServiceNow Cloud Management Platform (CMP) within the infrastructure. Ensure system stability and security by applying best practices in network and security protocols. Work with Apache Airflow to manage and schedule workflows, if applicable. Employ monitoring and logging tools to maintain system health and performance. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive. Required Qualifications: Experience: 8+ years in Software Development/System Administration. DevOps Expertise: Proven experience with DevOps practices and container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Cloud Solutions: Extensive experience in defining, creating, implementing, and improving cloud solutions. CI/CD: Excellent working knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines. Automation: In-depth experience with automation and configuration tools such as Ansible and Terraform. System Administration: Strong knowledge in Linux/Windows system administration. Virtualization: Hands-on experience with private cloud virtualization technologies, specifically VMware and OpenStack (mandatory). ServiceNow CMP: Experience with ServiceNow Cloud Management Platform is highly desired. Networking & Security: Solid understanding of common network and security practices. Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools for system health and performance management. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
