I am a small-town girl from Northern Labrador (Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada).

I worked for a media company for a few years before it changed hands. while working here, I worked on websites for local companies and maintaining the information current.

I then moved to Nunavut to maintain the departmental websites, (posting jobs) and keeping departmental data current. I also assisted end-users of the Government of Nunavut’s Human Resources Integrated Payroll System (HRIPS) with data entry questions and issues. Provided one-on-one training of how-to data entry information into HRIPS. I also updated the user manual for end-users.

Then I moved to Chile (I am a mother of four), and with my husband and three youngest live on a small farm in Patagonia Chile. We have lots of animals and many adventures in exploring our area.

As a member of a team, I visited clients to determine their needs for a company website.  Once the data and images were received, a demo front page was created for approval.  Upon approval, the entire site was created.  Purchased webspace and if needed, a web address from a Canadian Internet company to host the website.  I then FTP the entire website to the new location for viewing on the World Wide Web.  Programmed and troubleshooted Electronic Cash Registers as per the needs of individual companies.  Did on-site/phone troubleshooting of problems with networks and/or computers.  Converted VHS home movies to digital and added music to create a movie in Adobe Premiere.
