Professional linguist with a passion for audio-visual content. Translator, subtitler and language instructor, I'm passionate and motivated about what I do, with careful attention to detail. I have worked in several sectors accruing experience that have given me the opportunity of strengthening my skills and working with what I like most. After completing my BA degree in Italy, I moved to Dublin to improve my English. My initial plan of staying there for 6 months turned in a 10 year-long stay in the beautiful Emerald isle. My curiosity and passion for travelling made me move to Madrid in 2013.
With my linguistic background, management experience (accrued in the corporate and arts sector in Ireland) and passion for audiovisual contents, I started working for a subtitling company before deciding to step out and work on my own.
I have worked for many European and international clients, subtitling various content including documentaries, feature length and short movies, corporate videos and acclaimed TV series. I also managed large audiovisual projects for well-known global video-on-demand providers.
I am what you can call a movie nerd (and lately a TV series addict) and an unrepentant foodie. I love movies and books in their original language. When I am not working or at the cinema, I like going to concerts, exhibitions, lunch, brunch and dinners with friends.
