Much of my foundation, both personally and professionally, came from the eclectic Manhattan community of creatives and intellectuals that is The New School. That's where I earned my BA, began my career in comms and education administration, and eventually earned my MA. For seven years, The New School was a second home to me. I knew I wanted to try my hand at teaching and that I also wanted the option to work abroad, so I pursued an MA in TESOL. Upon graduation, I shifted into English teaching, working first in Moscow and later in Ho Chi Minh city. While I love the satisfaction of delivering a dynamic language lesson, I also enjoy solitary, project-based work. After four years of teaching English, I moved into a communication role at RMIT, where I managed communication campaigns and channels for the Vice President, ranging from newsletters and speeches to apps and videos.

I am now looking out for the next opportunity to apply my writing and communication skills to a team, company or NGO with an exciting vision!
