Since I got married, I would like to be able to follow my husband on his business trips, and I would love to be able to still work from wherever I am. 2000 – 2016 – Multinational Company

Compuware do Brasil, now: Dynatrace Software do Brasil – São Paulo

2006 to 2016 – Buyer:

  • As a buyer I was responsible for searching for new resources and vendors, and establishing loyal relationship, communications. inventory management
  • Vendors management – annual reviews of preferred vendors, for instance office and cafeteria supplies, equipments – laptops, keyboard and mouse, servers, adapters, battery, power supply cord; software licenses (Microsoft) for technicians.
  • Sourcing high quality and good prices; arranging prompt shipment and receiving. I negotiated contracts, mostly when they were about to expire and could save about 30% of money to the company – related to maintenance.
  • Business cards – requests, logos changes, personal information. I was responsible for ordering the logo and visual marketing. I received the instructions from a subsidiary in Boston and I ordered the new changes to Brazil. Our local vendors sent me some models, examples for approval, and when it is approved we decide a date for installation and I am responsible to monitor this process. Installing at reception, walls, and printing business cards, badge.
  • Purchasing / quotations- Signing Authority Policy; Training new system – NetSuit; payments managements. I add all the invoices and payments to the system, checking departments as cost center and I must add company hierarchy according to the value.
  • Vendors issues - (cut of services, returning goods, withdrawal and cancellation)
  • Management of certificates from ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Businesses) – renewals. This certificate guarantees that the company sells our software with exclusivity. There is a letter from Detroit that I must update each six months; it explains each product. On this process we have a great deal of bureaucracy and paper work.

 

Facilities

  • At this position I was responsible for Office Monthly Maintenance: air conditioning, carpet cleaning, energy stabilizer, chairs / furniture, coffee machine; Monitoring cleaning activities of Sao Paulo office, maintenance of internal circuitry of security cameras. Follow up of contracts and scheduling of each vendor responsible for these maintenances.
  • Provide New employee access from all three subsidiaries (Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia), badges, parking access, Presentation: new employee orientation
  • Management of Spreadsheets like: parking – monthly related to the employees who has the badge, and tickets for clients or partners; fleet - rental cars; gas and cleaning cars; follow up of goods and services the company has contracted. These spreadsheets were periodically presented to managers, and discussed on sales meetings; where it was possible to watch where the cost changed, or inconsistencies between employees. This procedure allows us to save some money to the company.
  • Import process / Radar (system) – data updating/ certification authority of nominated representatives, brokers. As Dynatrace is a multinational company we must keep updated this license from Brazilian government. With this license we can import and export goods. I was responsible for this system, and registration of brokers allowed to work thru this process.
  • Motorcycle courier service, mailing, notary, international mailing, office supplies and printer; Transportation of servers / equipments rental for POC (sales department). For each service there was a file, so I would check each invoice. Eventually I could find inconsistencies, and put the record straight .

  • Responsible for 15 bank accounts, accounts payable, bookkeeping; I was a personal secretary of president and vice president. I had access to the family bank accounts and credit cards. I was supposed to check on theirs expenses and present to the executives a spreadsheet with all information and point any significant change.
