After spending my childhood moving around Africa, and my twenties living in the UK, traveling around Europe and gaining work experience as a designer and copywriter for in-house and agency organisations, I am back living in Zimbabwe for the time-being. I got my start in remote working with a small company that works with organisations creating social change, with with them I transitioned from a full-time office-based employee, to a full-time internationally based remote employee. It's been a journey of discovery and I've learnt alot about my goals and values for my career and my personal life. I've learnt that becoming a digital nomad can be lonely and I've learnt to value the importance of staying in touch with clients, and with making friends and family where you can. I've also learnt that the freedom and opportunities that come from stepping outside of your comfort zone and saying yes to new experiences is priceless!
