I grew up in a Latin American country where civil war was not only the daily dosage, but it was something that was quite defining. Nonetheless, I rose from very humble beginning to currently being a candidate for a Doctorate Degree in Education with an Emphasis in Leadership and Learning in Higher Education. Needless to say, one's story is not about how we start, but about how we finish! I continue to learn about myself and hold myself to a very high standard, as one never knows what life may bring tomorrow!
