My name is Lauren, I'm an Anthropology PhD student based in Philadelphia, where I study, teach, and live! Throughout my undergraduate and graduate education I have explored my passion for global culture by traveling, researching, and writing about my experiences and the experiences of others living in different countries, contexts, and circumstances. Through my research and travels I strive to understand and appreciate cultures for the unique histories and contexts shape people's everyday lives. Through my work and personal life I aim to help foster equitable relationships between people and countries around the world.
