I am Moonyeen, or better known as Moon. I live in Davao City, Philippines. I am a Sales and Marketing Specialist by profession, and I used to work in a top pharmaceutical industry in the world as a Product Specialist. But my corporate life ended in September of 2016 when I decided to quit my prestigious job (as some people would think) 2 months after the death of my beloved grandmother whom I dedicated my life to looking after her welfare. Looking back, my grandmother is my ultimate motivator, she would always push me to go further and reach for my dreams.
I wondered, what would life be, if I live outside my comfort zone; to do things I am passionate about. I never regretted quitting my job and just working as a part-time financial advisor for AXA while pursuing other passions and dreams that I was longing to do. If others can travel, and do extreme stuff, why can’t I? Inspired by my aspirations to go beyond the “normal” fuelled by my love for the outdoors, all things extreme and unique, I engaged myself doing adventure sports like paragliding, of which I am passionate about and also travel. Now, I have become what I imagined myself a certified paragliding pilot, as well as a scuba diver. But my dreams don’t end there. I still have a lot of dreams to conquer.
