During my post-grad program at Centennial College for Publishing, I came up with my own idea for a literary magazine that I now run myself with a partner. KROS Magazine grew from the knowledge we gained during classes, and during the year I was there I crafted the logo, mission statement, and website for the project. We have now published two issues of the magazine online at issuu.com. Through this, I was able to use and expand on my skills in writing, web design, finance, editorial design, teamwork, and social media marketing, among other important skills.

The magazine itself, however, is a passion project and not just to show you my skills. It's a literary magazine that boosts the #ownvoices of South and Southeast Asian writers and artists, to give them a platform for their creative works to be seen and appreciated. There is a huge push in the publishing industry for diversity, and while we're slowly getting there, I wanted to do something myself to help it along. KROS Magazine was my answer.
