RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft, interprete and analyze architectural and structural drawings.
Execute engineering supervision of daily site activities (setting-out, reconnaissance survey, levelling, concrete batching, steel works etc.) as well as material testing (cube tests, slump test etc) as appropriate in order to satisfy specified codes and/or statutory authorities.
- Estimate quantity of materials needed and production of bills and work schedule in collaboration with the project
manager.
- Sourcing/scouting and cost-to-value analysis of material suppliers including quality control to aid procurement for construction.
- Responsible for resolving technical issues with clients, sub-contractors and obtaining permits from statutory authorities.
- Drafting of as-built files and writing of progress report and site diary.
- Handling all labour-related issues including payments and optimization of work output.
- Measurement and valuation of work-done by sub-contractors in collaboration with the project manager as appropriate.
- Maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment in adherence to HSE regulations.
