Sr Software Engineer (Remote)

Otter Products is currently seeking a Sr. Software Engineer – EDI/Integrations to join our Information Technology team! You can be based 100% remote in the US or in our Fort Collins, CO offices.

We are looking for an experienced Senior EDI Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EDI solutions with existing and new systems and applications. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot EDI-related issues. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Complex EDI solutions in compliance with business requirements and standards
• Design and develop mappings for data transformation between different EDI formats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EDI solutions with existing systems and applications
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other EDI developers
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex EDI-related issues
• Stay up to date with EDI trends, technologies, and best practices
• Continually evaluate our integrations for opportunities to improve monitoring and key performance indicators
• Estimate the level of effort to complete projects to ensure timely accurate and timely completion of tasks and predictable resource allocations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered. Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other Information Technology related field preferred
• Minimum of four years of EDI/Integrations engineering experience required.
• Proficiency in EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML preferred.
• Setting up partner connections using AS2, SFTP, etc. preferred.
• Experience with EDI tools and software (e.g., BizTalk, IBM Sterling, Cleo) preferred.

USD $120,000.00/Yr.

For US Based Roles Only – Base Compensation Range Maximum

USD $160,000.00/Yr.
