Project Description:

We are looking for the star Java Developer who is not afraid of work and challenges! Gladly becoming a partner with famous financial institution, we are gathering a team of professionals with wide range of skills to successfully deliver business value to the client. T-shade concept of people is the one we follow in the hiring process, but let’s talk about the project itself.

Our client is one of leaders in Financial Market and looking for strengthening its front-tier risk calculation and management. It involves a lot of different sub-systems to get integrated and make them working as the one meeting high quality standards including performance and robustness. Core system to interact with is FinCad F3. Technology stack we are targeting at is Kafka, Java, Python, Kubernetes, AWS.

Python is the core language of FinCad F3 framework for integration, math and financial modeling, reporting. The python engineers will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to integrate F3 into the bank’s landscape (directly or via Kafka-based framework that’s being engineered now) and build analytical financial models calculating various inputs to bank’s business. Skills required: solid core python, multithreading and -tasking, asyncio, pandas and numpy, hands-on with API engineering, performance optimization, ideally grid computing (Spark and alike).

Responsibilities:

100% hands-on role.

Able to understand business requirements & make technical backlog stories for self & others.

Work in team, where everyone has different technical skills. Hence open to listening ideas & explain your ideas.

Understand business need and contribute to sprint backlog, stories writing/grooming.

Agile based development cycle

Mandatory Skills Description:

– 10+ years engineering experience

– Solid banking domain experience

– 6+ years of experience with Java and Python

REST API (incl. Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)

– Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)

– Using Message Brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)

• Experience with python web service frameworks, such as FastAPI, Flask or Django.

• Experience using Docker in Linux environments.

• Good knowledge of testing methodologies. Can write unit tests for unfamiliar code, analyze code coverage, and analyze failing test cases.

• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks, such as Jenkins or Gitlab CI/CD, is plus

• Unit tests & Integration tests, using JUnit/Mockito

• Git

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of RDBMS architectures and database tooling, especially for Oracle or SQL Server

Basic Linux tooling and administration: package installation and tooling, shell scripting, managing file systems

Knowledge of Ansible

Basic understanding & use of API Security patterns
