Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint Systems Analyst/Trainer to oversee and provide support for finance-related accounting and operational systems for internal clients in regions throughout the country. This position is Remote but requires 75% national travel. The successful candidate will ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems, particularly during new acquisitions. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance, this role plays a pivotal role in system training, data migration, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide training on Deltek Vision system to new merger team members and facilitate data migration.
• Collaborate with IT and consultants to identify and address business requirements for new merger organizations.
• Maintain and update training materials for Vision transactions and functionalities.
• Attend weekly conversion meetings and manage data migration action items.
• Ensure readiness of functional teams for system implementation.
• Provide support during the month-end close process for at least 2 months.
• Troubleshoot finance processes and system issues in collaboration with IT and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• 5-7 years of progressive financial accounting and ERP system experience.
• Experience with Deltek Vision or VantagePoint accounting software is required.
• Experience in Vision or Vantagepoint conversion is preferred.
• Strong understanding of job cost accounting and project billing within the engineering industry.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
