The successful Senior Product Manager (PM) will work closely with Engineering, QA, Operations and Client Success teams throughout the Product Development Lifecycle to build, evolve and support our client’s solutions. As a Senior PM, you will play a key role in ensuring the product meets the needs of the client while promoting workflow improvement, client adoption, market growth and scalability. This role will be responsible for driving forth our client’s integrations (primarily acute and post-acute care EMRs) solutions and assist in driving product strategy emphasizing growth and scale.

In collaboration with the Product team, you will help to define the product roadmap, considering inputs from customers, client management, operations, clinical, sales, support, engineering, industry trends and market analysis, and ever-changing government and healthcare regulations.

Define user stories, use cases and product requirements based on customer input and feedback, and assessment of existing workflow; consider internal and external business needs as well as regulatory impacts; manage the design validation process, ensuring that key customer-driven design requirements are satisfied

Prioritizes and manages product backlog, ensuring runway for upcoming sprints; leads story refinement sessions, plays an active role in sprint planning and ongoing communication with sprint team(s)

Works closely with Product team to ensure that key customer-driven design requirements are satisfied; translates user needs and problems to Engineering and QA

Work closely with Product Managers, Customer Success, Operations and Anna Clinical teams to ensure user acceptance, monitor customer satisfaction and initiate improvements based on internal and external user/stakeholder feedback

Identify and review different clinical or business workflow approaches and objectively evaluate best practices worthy of inclusion in the product.

Communicate key deliverables and milestones to internal and external stakeholders and work with necessary team members to ensure dates are met

Plan, schedule and review documentation and education materials for new applications and product releases.

Ability to work independently with general direction; comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with remote team members using telecommunications

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has experience with healthcare interoperability, healthcare software or both. Candidate must have commercial software product development experience, experience working within agile scrum methodologies, basic engineering management systems (e.g. Jira/Confluence) and product design tools, and competencies in workflow review and evaluation, problem solving and project management. Proficient in office-based applications with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
  • 5-7 years experience in the healthcare software and/or commercial software product development; experience with interoperability, payors, EMR integrations, a plus
  • Atlassian, Microsoft Office, Workflow Designs (e.g. Lucidchart, Visio), Analytics/Reporting systems, Wireframing/UX Design software
  • Not required, but a plus, Scrum Alliance – Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or other similar Product Owner certification
