About The Role

We are looking for a Manager, Customer Success to grow and guide a team of Customer Success Managers who work with other tech startups. In this role, you will bring your leadership experience to help scale processes and the team while working to achieve business objectives. You will motivate your team, coach them, and assess performance, in addition to being involved in the hiring process and training.

The ideal Manager, Customer Success must possess strong communication skills, be social and methodical, with an aptitude for learning new software. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential, along with leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Customer Success Managers by providing guidance, mentorship, and consistent feedback. Drive consistent improvement through setting targets and coaching based on individual needs.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity by proposing alternate solutions based on analytical insights. Maintain a pulse on customer and team needs for ongoing learning and knowledge enhancement.
  • Provide feedback to the leadership team on current processes and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Analyze customer data to identify new ideas and processes to enhance product adoption and prevent issues.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in Customer Success or Account Management within the tech industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and workflows.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset utilizing data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Customer-centric mindset focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and customer engagement platforms preferred.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a tech startup preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $125,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience, plus a 20% bonus.
