Public Relations Expert (Remote)

Bou is a new-school Nordic brand company that builds brands in various domains; including design, marketing, development and communications. We are currently seeking a talented and versatile PR and communications freelancer to join our project team for our upcoming PR project. In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting press releases, reaching out to media outlets, contacting journalists, and coordinating media interviews. Your expertise from the media scene, especially in the global lifestyle / fashion / consumer media landscape will be crucial to our project team’s success.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining relationships with media professionals, pitching stories and press releases, and securing media coverage to enhance the client’s visibility and reputation
• Developing compelling written materials, such as press releases, social media content, and presentations, to effectively communicate key messages and narratives
• Tracking and analyzing media coverage and PR campaign performance, providing insights and reports to assess the impact of PR efforts

Requirements

• Native in English with excellent English writing skills
• Proven experience (4+ years) in PR and communications
• Experience from the UK media scene
• Experience working with global lifestyle / fashion / consumer media (either as a PR rep / pitching to them or as a journalist / writing for the publications)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
