The goal of this new team is to migrate the client’s main data platform solution and other key technology infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, enhancing its existing cloud migration strategy. The key objectives are to deliver the client’s vision to revolutionise the way capital markets discover, analyse, and trade securities around the World. The vision is anchored on a cloud-centric strategy that will enhance customer experience and product capabilities across our business, leverage hyperscale technology and deliver best-in-class resiliency and stability.

• Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will collaborate to architect the client’s data infrastructure and build intuitive next-generation productivity, data and analytics and modelling solutions with Microsoft Azure, AI, and Microsoft Teams. Step-change in services for customers across the financial markets value chain, including an enhanced version of the client’s Workspace tool with seamless Teams communication and Microsoft 365 interoperability with built-in compliance for the first time.

• Mandatory Skills Description:

– 5 plus years’ experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud and hybrid Azure Platform solutions.

– Can demonstrate deep knowledge in setting up Microsoft Cloud Products and hands on experience with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.

– Prior experience in roles such as Azure engineering, development, or Azure-focused DevSecOps.

– Familiarity with Azure cloud native components and products.

– 3 years’ demonstrable experience with CI/CD pipelines.

– Proficiency in agile methodologies and CI/CD principles and practices.

– Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Gitlab.

– Excellent planning and communications skills and able to lead conversations with development and product teams.

– BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM degree.

– Knowledge of following technology stack: Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Service Fabric, Microsoft Azure Networking, Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform, HashiCorp Terraform.

• Nice-to-Have Skills:

– Certificates like: AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400;

– Proven track record working in agile environments;

– 3 years’ hands on experience with Azure products and services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS);

– Proactive incident management with Azure-based troubleshooting;

– Sound understanding of financial markets.
